Angela is a licensed mental health counselor in the State of Indiana. She attended Butler University and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She received her Master’s degree in Counselor from Ball State University in 2008. She is also fully trained in the use of Eye-Movement Desensitizing and Reprocessing (EMDR). After finishing her education, Angela got her start working at a mental health center in Lafayette, IN, and then worked for over five years at Fairbanks Hospital in Indianapolis. Working in both the mental health and addictions settings helped her to gain well-rounded experience with a wide range of clients and concerns. Angela works with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, difficulty adjusting to life changes, difficulty coping with past traumas, eating disorders, addiction issues, and GLBTQ issues. She uses a range of therapeutic techniques based on what would work best for each client, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills, relapse prevention, and EMDR.
