Welcoming New Clients (Ages 8+)
Hi there — I’m Aubrey, and I’m so glad you’ve stopped by. Seeking therapy is a courageous step, and I’d be honored to walk with you on your journey.
As an Art Therapist, I believe that art has the power to heal, challenge, and transform the way we engage with ourselves and the world around us. In our work together, I often incorporate art into sessions alongside open conversation and reflection. Because talking about things can be difficult, art offers a unique way to access and express what words sometimes can’t.
Sessions with me may include art-making only, a combination of art and discussion, or may not include art at all — it’s all based on your needs and therapeutic goals. No prior experience or skill is required to benefit from using art in therapy — just an open mind and a willingness to explore.
I work with a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults seeking support through both creative modalities and traditional talk therapy. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, major life changes, religious trauma, and family systems, while also focusing on building skills for emotional regulation and resilience. I have a particular passion for supporting individuals who are healing from religious trauma, and I strive to provide a compassionate space for deconstruction, identity exploration, and rebuilding trust.
I have experience supporting individuals from a variety of backgrounds, including those navigating medical challenges, substance use, grief, and identity exploration. I strive to be an empathetic, grounded presence who meets each person where they are. Together, we’ll build a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to shape the life you want to create.
