Finding the right therapist is one of the most important parts of the process, and we take it seriously. When you reach out to us, a member of our team will ask a few questions about what you’re looking for and help match you with a therapist whose experience, approach, and availability fit your needs. If you ever feel like the fit isn’t quite right, we’re happy to help you find someone else on our team who might be a better match.
Yes. We offer both in-person sessions at our office in the Broad Ripple area of Indianapolis and virtual sessions via telehealth. If you have a preference, let us know when you reach out and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. Due to licensure restrictions, we are only able to offer virtual sessions for people who are in the state of Indiana during the session.
Fees and insurance status vary by therapist, and full pricing information can be found on each therapist’s individual bio page. If you have questions about cost or coverage before scheduling, don’t hesitate to ask.
That’s more common than you might think, and it doesn’t mean therapy can’t work for you. The fit between a client and therapist matters a lot, as does finding an approach that’s well-matched to what you’re actually dealing with. If a previous experience felt unhelpful or like something was missing, we’d encourage you to give it another chance. We’ll work hard to make sure you’re paired with someone who feels like the right fit from the start.
We’re located in the heart of Broad Ripple at 6507 Ferguson Street, Suite 201, Indianapolis, IN 46220. Free parking is available along the street in front of our building or in the parking lot behind our building. Broad Ripple is a vibrant, welcoming neighborhood on the north side of Indianapolis, and our office reflects that same spirit. It’s a warm, comfortable space where we hope you feel at ease.
Yes, you are welcome to use a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to pay for therapy sessions. If your therapist is out-of-network for your insurance plan, we can provide you with a superbill upon request. A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes the information your insurance company needs to process a reimbursement claim on your behalf. Reimbursement rates and eligibility vary by plan, so we recommend checking with your insurance provider ahead of time to understand your out-of-network benefits.
We do not prescribe medication. However, we have a wide network of relationships with prescribers in the Indianapolis area, and we often work in conjunction with prescribers to support our clients’ needs. We are happy to connect our clients with prescribing physicians if medication is a part of their treatment process.
You can call our office or email us at admin@northsidementalhealth.com if you have any questions about your bill with Northside.
Yes, your participation in therapy at Northside (and content discussed in your sessions) is kept strictly confidential. Even if a family member or friend sees a different provider at Northside, or refers you to one of our therapists, they will not be privy to any information about your therapy or even your status as a client. This also means that we are not permitted to communicate with family members who may contact our office with questions or concerns about clients, unless you have signed a Release of Information (ROI) for them with your therapist. The only exceptions to this are legally required situations involving safety concerns, which your therapist will explain clearly at your first appointment.
